My friend Matthew Lee Anderson has been kind enough to publish my review of The Little Way of Ruthie Leming by Rod Dreher. It’s posted at the fantastic blog Mere Orthodoxy.
Along with a lot of other folks, I consider Matt one of the most important voices among conservative Christians today (and he’s only getting started) which makes Mere-O such an important blog. I’m really honored to have my name attached to the website — and the terrific gang of writers Matt has developed — in any way.
Whereas Matt is just being discovered, Dreher is widely regarded as one of the most important conservative thinkers around today (his blog is everyday reading for me), and this book he’s written is very important. To find out why, head on over to Mere-O and read my review.

You are first my “little boy” that was not happy with me one summer day and only wanted to write the “sentences” he wanted to write, but in the end did the right thing.
